Engineering Department

Wyoming State Statutes require that all drawings, plans, specifications, estimates, and construction of public works projects be completed under the direct supervision of a registered professional engineer (PE). Engineering Associates (EA) has provided municipal engineering and surveying services to the Town of Thermopolis since 1961. As Town Engineer, EA utilizes the expertise of thirteen PE’s, two professional land surveyors, seven engineering interns, two surveying interns, and various highly-competent engineering technicians during planning, design, and construction of various projects for the Town.They work closely with the Town’s administration and departments to ensure the quality of completed projects as well as compliance with local, state, and federal requirements. EA has developed close working relationships with firms that possess strong capabilities in special disciplines to insure the Town has highly-qualified professionals, even when additional expertise is required

Staff currently assigned to perform work for the Town on a regular basis with the support and expertise of the complete EA staff are:

Heath has been performing work for the Town since moving to Thermopolis in August, 2005. He acts as the Town Engineer on a daily basis and has been working in that capacity since 2007. He graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2001 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering, as well as a B.S. in Architectural Engineering. Before relocating to Thermopolis, he began his career in Laramie, doing design and construction administration work for several municipal water systems throughout Wyoming. Heath manages the Thermopolis office for EA and assists the Town in the Codes Administration office.
